Is The Endometriosis Companion suitable if I haven't been diagnosed?
Yes. The Companion can be used whether you have a confirmed diagnosis of endometriosis, are waiting for answers, or simply want to keep a clearer record of your symptoms and experiences.
The journal is designed to help you record your own experiences and prepare for conversations with healthcare professionals. It does not diagnose endometriosis or provide medical advice.
Can I use the journal to prepare for medical appointments?
Absolutely. Appointment preparation is one of the key purposes of The Endometriosis Companion.
It gives you space to record symptoms, questions, relevant information and experiences over time, so you can feel more prepared when speaking with your GP, gynaecologist or other healthcare professional.
The information you record may also help you communicate your experiences more clearly during appointments.
Is The Endometriosis Companion a substitute for medical advice?
No. Beacon Editions products are designed to support personal organisation, reflection and communication. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Please always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any health concerns.
How often should I use my Endometriosis Companion?
There is no right or wrong way to use your Companion.
You might choose to use it every day, regularly throughout the week, or simply whenever you have something you want to record. The journal has been designed to fit around your life rather than become another task you have to complete.
Use the sections that are useful to you and leave the rest when you don't need them.
What's inside The Endometriosis Companion?
The Companion brings together thoughtfully designed pages to support different parts of your health journey, including symptom tracking, appointment preparation, treatment and medication records, wellbeing reflections and space to record important information.
Every section has been designed with a practical purpose, without unnecessary worksheets or overwhelming layouts.
How is my Companion printed?
Every Companion is printed on demand, especially for you, through our fulfilment partner, Bookvault, rather than being mass-produced and stored in a warehouse.
This means your journal is produced when you place your order.
How long will my order take to arrive?
For the Stone edition, standard printing typically takes 1–3 business days. Once dispatched, delivery within the UK typically takes approximately 3–5 working days.
The Linen edition is hand-foiled in the UK, so please allow up to 15 working days before dispatch, in addition to the delivery time.
We'll always aim to get your Companion to you as quickly as possible.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Not currently. Beacon Editions currently ships within the UK only.
What is the difference between the Stone and Linen editions?
Both editions contain the same Endometriosis Companion journal.
The difference is in the cover finish: the Stone edition has a beautiful understated finish, while the Linen edition features a linen cover with hand-foiled detailing.
Can I return my Companion?
Yes. We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your Companion must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with its tags and original packaging. You'll also need proof of purchase.
To request a return, please contact us at info@beaconeditions.co.uk before sending your item back. We'll provide the return instructions and, where applicable, a return shipping label.
If your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help resolve the issue.
