My Story
Beacon Editions was born from lived experience.
As a woman living with endometriosis, I know first-hand what it feels like to search for answers, second-guess your own body and leave appointments wishing you had remembered just one more symptom or one more question.
Like so many women, I found myself piecing together information from countless places, medical appointments, online communities, handwritten notes and quiet moments of reflection. There was no single place that felt calm, organised and designed to support the whole journey.
I created Beacon Editions to change that. The name Beacon was chosen intentionally. A beacon doesn't remove the storm or change the journey ahead. It simply provides a steady point of reference, helping you find your way when the path feels uncertain.
That is exactly what I hope every Companion becomes. Not a replacement for medical advice. Not a promise of easy answers. But a trusted guide that helps you navigate your health journey with greater clarity, confidence and understanding.
Every page is designed with the woman I once was in mind: overwhelmed, searching for answers and wanting to feel more prepared for the conversations that mattered most.
Beacon Editions exists to bring together thoughtful design, practical organisation and compassionate support, creating journals and companions that help you feel more connected to your body, more empowered in your healthcare and more in control of your journey.
You didn't choose this journey. But however it has unfolded, I'm glad you're here.
With love,
Ash
